Extremely overpriced & don't refund money
Extremely overpriced, terrible service and opening hours. There is also never the correct stock levels. Placed an order in October and by December had still not received it or even a phone call even though it was due in store in 1 week. I still have not had my money returned.
I am so pleased that my son's school has decided to change suppliers due to School Uniform Direct's inflated prices. I will now be paying £25.99 for the exact blazer that cost me £39.99 at School Uniform Direct.
Following my review of 21st October
Following my review of 21st October, I still have had no reply, not even an acknowledgement. These company STOLE money from me, without even bothering to offer a reason or apology. No wonder they have 100% bad feedback. But then we are held to ransom by the schools who force us to get uniform from this band of ignorant thieves. As a last resort, I will be writing to my daughter's school informing them that I will not be purchasing any more uniform from them, even if that means she goes to school in incorrect uniform.

Couldn't fulfill order and no notification received
I ordered my daughters school shoes and equipment 3 weeks before the start of term. I was starting to get nervous when 2 weeks had passed and the order hadn't arrived. I emailed customer service and had a polite reply but no news on when I would receive the order. I then talked to customer service they said the shoes were out of stock and couldn't get them in. But they hadn't notified me of this, the website said the shoes were in stock. So no school shoes, so I asked them please to send the equipment at least that day so she would have it to start school, they said they would but the next day it still hadn't been sent out. Ended up cancelling the order, now running around trying desperately to find equipment and shoes before tomorrow.

Terrible customer service at the Fulham…
Terrible customer service at the Fulham store. The manager was rude and dismissive when asked to comply with COVID- 19 restrictions. They had stock all over the floor and staff sitting on the floor doing a stock check in-hours, blocking the throughway for customers and staff serving customers.Everyone was bumping into each other and absolutely no distancing! Not a safe place to shop and rudeness even from the manager. And after all that they still had limited stock. Avoid shopping in store for safety and sanity.

Dreadful, lazy, useless
Appalling service.
We were sold the wrong uniform for a new school, then promised a delivery time of two weeks, didn’t appear until I chased up at 6 weeks - apparently everything was in the store they just hadn’t “got round” to making any deliveries.
Customer services are sullen and disinterested, the staff in the Staines branch can hardly string a sentence together, have no idea about any of their products and appear to have received absolutely no training in anything. The store is also not open in line with opening hours stated online.
I dread needing to use this company again.

School Uniform Direct. Worst customer experience of all time
By far the worst customer experience I have had in years. Tried to return my daughter's uniform that she never wore but explained to them in advance my daughter had in her excitement, removed the tags.
I arrived at North End Road shop to be frightened immediately by their manager called Glynis who was being haughty, overbearing and downright mean to the lady in front of me, who left nearly in tears. It was not a good start. Sorry, but Glynis is a saucy old retainer who was flexing her muscles for a sense of power. It was terrifying to witness.
Then came my turn. Glynis dismantled me. She randomly took back half the items but not the rest, while her colleague looked in slack jawed in the corner, almost as if my angst was her entertainment for the day. I was subtly accused of lying. Her direct words were: "Yes, all our customers tell the truth". It was astonishingly bad.
I suggested to her that since my daughter never wore the items, perhaps it was the quality of the garment that was poor in the first place. I too left as frustrated as the woman ahead of me. I complained to head office, was asked to return the remaining items and shockingly, Josephine there told me there were "markings" in it. Well if that was the case, they were there before I bought them.
No corporate responsibility, no respect for the customer, a lousy, cramped musty shop that looked like a 1950's warehousing outlet, staff that accuse their customers of lying, a premium price for rubbish products, with staff needing either to retrain or retire! Horrible. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be made felt like a lying petty thief. 3 kids And gone through many outfitters. This one, deffo no
